Hey y'all !!!
Its time to celebrate Eid-al-fitr, a festive moment, full of gatherings, happiness, a time to rejoice, celebrate with family & friends and enjoy loads and loads of good food.
It is celebrated to mark the end of month long worship.
Our Eid day starts with Fajr Prayers, giving alms in the form of zakat, followed by Eid-al-fitr salah, taking blessings and receiving eidi from elders is completely a different joy.. lol.
We have a fixed scrumptious menu for eid which includes --
For Breakfast - Kababs, Puris.
For Lunch - sauted semi dry mutton stew with steamed or zeera rice, pan seared green peas with garlic and green chilies.
For Dinner - Arabic Mandi, Lamb Roast
And ofcourse any feast is incomplete without desserts, ours include the traditional Sheer Khurma, ghee roasted sewaiyan(we have a special way of making it as our roots are from North India i.e famous Uttar Pradesh)
I pray that you all have a wonderful and blessed eid with your near and dear ones. Enjoy this joyous day with your loved ones and remember me in your duas.
Ciao !!
