Chicken Legs

My comeback recipe is our family favourite "CHICKEN LEGS"..

Perfect starter for all parties, get-together with friends, outdoor BBQ..

it is my go to recipe, made up with basic day to day ingredients i.e. Ginger-Garlic Paste, Tandoori Masala, Red Chilli Powder(for that extra spice kick), Lemon juice for tangine touch and ofcourse salt to taste.

To make these gorgeous crowd pleaser "chicken legs" you will be needing - 

Fresh Chicken Legs(Skin On Or without skin) - 10-12

1 Cup of Ginger-Garlic Past

1 Tbsp - Red Chili Powder

Salt To Taste

1 Tbsp Tandoori Masala

Pinch of Red Food Color

1 Cup thick yogurt

1 Lemon Juice

1 tbsp Grinded Green Chilies (Optional)

Ajwain i.e. Carom Seeds - 1/2 Tsp

Prep: Wash the chicken legs thoroughly and pat dry to remove excess moisture.

In a bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well. 

Make slits in the chicken legs and add in the marinade bowl.

Mix well, cover with cling wrap and let it rest for couple of hours.

Grill at 250 Deg. till well done. Do Not Over cook else it will become dry.

Serve hot with Kapsa Rice and Steamed Or Stauteed seasonal veggies like Brocoli, Carots, Bell Peppers alongside creamy mashed potatoes..

Note: you can increase the proportions and quantity of chicken basis your requirement.

Suggestions: spinneys has the best chicken legs..

Make sure your meat is fresh as fresh taste the best.

If you are cooking it over your stove in a pan, then cook it for 15 mins in oil and later baste it with butter for extra flavour till you get a good color and the chicken is tender
