NoKnead Rustic Bread

Hey everyone..

Am back with yet another exiciting recipe for all those who are die-hard fans of freshly baked bread in any form, served with a delicious spread of Olive Leaves, creamy butter, drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

My no knead rustic bread recipe's end product is exactly the same way as you get in any fancy French Restaurant _  rustic from outside and soft to the core from inside, making it so so delicious and quite tempting that you cannot stop yourself from having another slice. And when I say quite tempting I quite literally mean it.

Oh Yumm :)

Ingredients -- *  3 + 1/4th Cup All Purpose Flour * 1 + 1/2 Lukewarm Water + Additional Water, if required. * 1 Pac of Instant Yeast(Make sure to use Fresh yeast, else the dough will not rise) * 1/2 Tsp Salt * 1 Tsp Honey Or Castor Sugar * Oil for brushing on the dough, to avoid cracks.

Instructions -

In a small bowl, add 1/4 cup of lukewarm water, 1 tsp of honey or castor sugar and instant yeast. Stir well and let it set to activate the yeast.

In another bowl, add flour and salt. Combine well and make a well in between. Add in the yeast mixture and using a spatula, mix well until everything is just well combined.

Grease the bowl with oil and place the dough, brush with oil so that there are no cracks formed.

Cover with cling wrap and place the bowl in a warm place to let the dough rise.

Once the dough is risen, re-knead it to form a smooth dough(fold in twice).  Sprinkle flour on a parchment paper. Place the prepared dough on top of it. Using a bread knife, slit the dough to form bakery style design(as per your choice),  dust with some more flour.

Note - Do not panic, as this dough will be slightly sticky. Nothing to worry about.

Preheat a baking tray for about 15-20 mins. Remove the preheated baking tray, Slide the parchement paper with the bread dough on top of it.

Place the tray on the top rack of the oven.

In the second rack of oven, place a baking dish with boiling water to form steam, which will eventually give a rustic finish to the bread.

Bake till the bread is well done, approx for about 25-30 mins.

This bread can be used a base for Bruschettas, Garlic Bread, Olive breads etc etc.

Hope you will enjoy making this. Do drop in your comments.
