#Brownie Mousse is a ideal dessert and perfect, specially for those moments when you have unexpected guest, mid night dessert cravings.. It is beyond delicious, light on the palate and can be essembled very soon..
Best part is it is eggless so a complete treat for all my vegetarian fans out there..
So to make this simple Brownie Mousse, you need some Vicenzi LadyFingers, Whipping Cream, Vanilla Essence, Baking Chocolate for Garnish, strawberry slices and some brownie bites as that will the base of this gorgeous dessert.
For Serving - Some pretty juice glasses or icecream cups, for individual servings..
Ingredients
1 Packet of Vicenzi lady finger biscuits || 1 Cup of Chilled whipped cream || 1 Tsp Vanilla Essence || 1 Tbsp Strong Coffee || 1 Tray of Baked Brownies ||
2 Tbsp Coco Powder + Some for dusting || Some fancy glasses for serving | Castor Sugar || For decor - Chocolate shavings, Choco Syrup.
Instructions
Step 1 - Chill the serving glases/bowls for minimum 1 hr. In a bowl add chocolate syrup. Grate chocolate and keep aside.
Step 2 - Coat the top of the serving glasses with choco syrup and choco shavings. Refrigerate for another 15 mins to let it set.
Step 3 - Whisk the chilled heavy cream on high speed(using electric hand mixer) till it is thick. Add 2 tbsp of coco powder, 1/2 cup of strong coffee, Vanilla Essence and sugar(as per desired sweetness). Continue whisking till everything is well combined. Refrigerate for 2 Hours so that the cream thickens in consistency.
Remove the serving glasses from the fridge. Spoon out the prepared whipped in each glass/serving bowls. Place a cube of brownie on to of it. Spoon out some more whipped ceam on top of it. Spread evenly to form a clean layer.
Step 4 - In a bowl, add coco powder and enough water. Stir well to combine it. Dip each vicenzi biscuit in the coco + coffee mixture for 1 min and place it on one side and add strawberry slices on the other side(As shown in the picture on right side). Sprinkle grated chocolate on top it.
Note - You can add crushed walnuts or pecans as well for some crunch.
Regrigerate again to set the cream, preferably over night. remove them just before you want to serve it.
