Recently i had been craving for sumptuous Chicken Karahi.. So I made one last night and belive me it turned out to be a super hit..
Simple, delicious, easy to make dinner feast with just few basic day to day ingredients..
Perfect for any gathering be it with family or friends.. even for those times when you have unexpected guest ππ

Prep Time: 15 Mins. Cook Time: 30-45 Mins
Serving 4-5
Ingredients:
Chicken on bones - 1 KG
Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 TBSP
Onions - 2-3 (Sliced)
Tomatoes - 3-4(Sliced)
Salt To Taste
Red Chili Powder - 2 TSP
Dried Fenugreek Leaves: 1 TSP
Whole Garam Masala(Cloves, Black Pepper, Black Cardamom, Bay Leaves, Cinnamon Stick)
Half Lemon Juice
Yogurt - 1/2 Cup (Optional)
Green Chili Pepper - 2-3 Medium Size
Pinch of Turmeric
Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 TSP
Oil For Cooking
For Garnish:
Chopped Cilantro
Slitted Green Chilies
Method:
Clean and wash the chicken completely, Keep it in a strainer to remove access water..
Heat oil in a wok, Add whole garam masala along with Black Cumin/shah zeera.
Add in onions and tomatoes.. Saute till well done.
Add in turmeric, salt, ginger-garlic paste. Mix well and cook till you get a soothing aroma and oil separates out.
Add in chicken pieces, stir well.. Cook on medium till chicken in well done.
Simmer and cook till oil separates out.
Add in green peppers and cook till they are soften. Stir in Lemon Juice.
Taste and adjust the salt.. Cook till chicken is completely tender..
Garnish with chopped cilantro, slitted green chilies.
Serve Hot with Steamed Rice Or Indian Flat Bread
