Ingredients - 1 KG Chicken on Bones | 1 Cup Yogurt | 1 Tbsp Dried Fenugreek Leaves(Kasuri Methi) | 1 Tbsp BlackPepper | 1 Sprig of Curry Leaves | 1-2 Tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste. | Salt To Taste. Fresh cilantro for garnish | 1-2 Jalepenos | 1 Tsp Garam Masala | 1 Cup Sliced Onions & Oil for cooking. Plus some whole garam masala. | 1 Lime Juice | Ginger Juliennes. | Green BellPepper_Optional
Instructions - Clean and wash the chicken, trim off the fat. Give a final wash with clean water. Keep it in a strainer to remove excess water.
Heat oil in a wok, add sliced onions and whole garam masala. Saute till translucent in color. Add in the chicken and mix well. Cook till the chicken releases its water and is white. Add in ginger garlic paste and salt. Give a quick stir and let it cook till tender on medium low flame.
In a bowl, whisk together yogurt, blackpeper, kasuri methi until well combined. Put it in the wok with chicken. Add green bell pepper(Cut into bite size pieces). Gently mix it and put the lid on. Let it simmer till chicken is completely cooked through, giving random stirs so that nothing sticks to the pan.
Do Not over cook else it will become dry and do not under cook as it is un-edible.
Garnish with cilantro, jalapenos, finely sliced ginger juliennes and some lemon juice. Sprinkle garam masala powder.
Serve hot with naan or steamed rice.
