Comfort Food _ Sticky Khichdi !!!

Another comfort food for those busy days and when you are running out of groceries is definetly "Khichdi".. It is basically a combination of rice and red lentil, sauteed in oil, ghee(Clarified Butter) and few basic spices. It is definetly a comfort food in every Indian household and is highly considered by everyone.
Here is a short and simple procedure to make this delicious delicacy.
Ingredients - 1 Cup White Rice | 1/2 Cup Red Lentil | 1 Tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste | 1/2 Tsp Red Chili Flakes | 1/2 Tsp Cumin seeds | 1 Small onion_chopped | 1 Tsp of Dried Kasuri Methi(Fenugreek Leaves) | 1 Cup finely diced potatoes | 1 Cup green peas | Salt To Taste | 1/2 Tsp Turmeric
Instructions - Heat oil and ghee in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds and kasuri methi, Saute it till it starts giving a soothing aroma. Add onion, ginger garlic paste,salt to taste, turmeric powder, potatoes, green peas and saute til potatoes are tender and ginger-garlic is cooked.
Add rice, red lentil and enough water, Stir well so that everything is mixed properly. Do Bring it boil on high flame, Give one more stir and close the cooker lid. Cook on low flame till 3-4 Whistles.
Turn off the flame and let the cooker rest.
Serve Hot with dollop of butter
Note - since this is made in Pressure Cooker, it will be sticky and that makes it immensley special. And it needs to be eaten hot else it will not taste good.
