A perfect Vanilla Cake...

Here is a perfect go-to Vanilla Cake recipe for all the amateur bakers out there. I am using this recipe since years and the end result is just amazing, if you follow all steps correctly.. It is super simple, delicious and gorgeous in texture.
You need - 12 oz Self Rising Or All Purpose Flour | 8 Oz Castor Sugar | 5 Oz Milk(At Room Temperature | 100 gm Butter | 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder + 1/4 Tsp Baking Soda | 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Essence | 2 Eggs |
Some Pistachios and Almonds _ Finely Chopped
Prepare the Batter -
Step 1 - Bring all the ingredients at room temperature. Preheat the oven for a good 30 Mins with only the bottom rod on.
Step 2 - Grease a rectangular or square baking tray with butter or non stick cooking spray. Line with parchment paper. Keep aside, while you prepare the cake batter.
Step 3 - In a mixing bowl, add sugar and butter. Cream together till light, airy and pale yellow in color.
Step 4 - Add in eggs, one at a time and gently mix together.
Step 5 - Sift together the dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
Step 6 - Slowly add the ingredients in the bowl with eggs and sugar mixture, gradually adding milk and Vanilla Essence.
Step 7 - Using a spatula gently mix everyhing together and scrap out the bottom so that there is nothing uncombined.
Beat on high speed using a electric hand mixer until you get a creamy consistency.
"Do not over mix else your cake will become bread like."
Pour the cake mixture in the prepared baking dish. Tap gently to remove the excess air.
Garnish with thinly sliced Almonds and Pistachios.. Give a random stir.
Place the dish on the center rack and bake till well done Or till a inserted tooth pick comes out clean.
Let it rest for sometime before you cut it..
This is the best cake recipe which is indeed loved by all family members..
