Am indian by birth, Born on 7th December hence a saggitarian, microbiology graduate, Interior Designer and working as a full time Shipping Agent.

UAE is my home since 2005 and I love living here since then. My life revolves around my family and I love making delicious meals for them.

My passion for cooking started when I moved to Pune with my father and grandmother.. umm guess in 2002. I used to help my grandmother in everyday cooking right from chopping the veggies, cooking rotis(Indian flat bread) etc etc. I have learnt every bit of my cooking from my grand mothers, my aunts and ofcourse my MOM whose cooking is very famous in my whole khandaan.

My favourite desserts include Italian Tiramisu(though i have never tried making it), Indian gulab jaamun, gajar ka halwa, shahi tukda,  Ramadan special - Sheer Khurma, Vermicilli with fresh cream, Strawberry Tart, Creme Caramel, choco pastries to name a few. Oh yes ! How can i forget Chocolate Cakes and Brownies tossed with walnuts. Desi indian khaana is my go to comfort food.. Nothing can beat hot daal chawaal with a dollop of ghee. My all time favourite is hot hot Butter Chicken with tandoor fresh butter naan tossed with loads and loads of butter. Besides this I enjoy Italian, Lebanese, Thai, Chinese and Portuguese Cuisine. Love to have Steaks once in a while with loads of grilled veggies and mayo loaded creamy mashed potatoes.

Baking is like a therapy for me as it gets rid of all the stress... Am sure it does for you all as well. I love baking cup cakes to kill my boredom.. 

Am so excited to start my very own website KanzKitchen.com, only to share my passion for cooking and the recipes of my everyday cooking.
