Sauteed Spicy Potatoes !!!
Sharing my yet another all time favourite recipe of the world famous ingredient "Potatoes" which is part of every household all across the globe.
This one can be served with just a normal roti or parathas for breakfast, lunch or dinner.. Perfect for tiffin boxes and can be ready within at the max 15 mins.
Ingredients - 2-3 Yellow Potatoes | Pinch of Hing | 1/2 Tsp Turmeric | Salt To Taste | Spices - corainder seeds, cumin seeds, onion seeds, fenugreek seeds, caraway seeds, super crushed garlic, some dried red chilli, curry leaves | Oil for cooking | Pinch of mango powder for tanginess. | Chopped cilantro for garnish | Finely chopped green chilies(Optional)
Instructions -
Heat oil in a wok. Add Hing and saute for 10 mins or till you get a soothing aroma.
Add in remaining spices and stir for 10 mins.
Add in the sliced potato wedges and mix well. Cook on medium flame for about 15 mins till they are semi tender.
Add a pinch of turmeric, some mango powder and mix well.
Cook further till the potatoes are completely cooked.
Garnish with chopped cilantro and chopped green chilies, some lemon zest.
Serve Hot..
